Tips for users:

The lean-meter with a probe connected to a cable transmits ultrasonic waves that enter the animal’s body. These vibrations are reflected by the tissue surface of the animal. The reflected waves are electronically processed to determine the bottom of the second layer of back fat. The distance between the surface of the skin and the second layer is calculated and visualized digitally.
